Jelly Mould Sandwich

A clever way to prepare club sandwiches using a Tupperware® Ring Jelly Mould.

Equipment

  • Tupperware Jelly Mould

Ingredients

  • 1 Loaf Bread
  • Margarine & Butter

3 Fillings of Choice

  • 1 Cup Lettuce shredded
  • 1 Cup Egg hard boiled & mashed
  • 1 Cup Carrot grated
  • 1 Cup Cheese grated
  • 1 Cup Ham shredded

Instructions

  • Cut crusts off bread and spread one side with margarine or mayonnaise.  
  • Lay approximately 7 slices of bread buttered side facing up, on the inside of a Tupperware jelly mould overlapping bread to fit.
  • Add a layer of filling.  
  • Cut 3 slices of bread in half. Place buttered side up over the filling. 
  • Make another layer of halved bread slices, pressing down slightly.  
  • Add final layer of filling.  
  • Place another slice of bread, buttered side down, over the filling and tuck it over the top and down the sides of the previous layers.  
  • Place lid on the mould pressing firmly and evenly until the lid fits properly.  
  • Refrigerate for a couple of hours or overnight.  

Notes

Lunch: serve with salad
