On Thursday 11 April 11 members took the guided tour of Gulf Station, one of the oldest and most intact examples of a pioneer complex in Australia. The guides on the day gave a history of the station and founding family who had emigrated from Scotland in 1839 with family members farming there until the 1940s.
Morning tea was enjoyed at the Yarra Glen Chocolaterie followed by lunch at the Grand Hotel. An excellent day enjoyed by all.
