Despite the forecast for a wet and cold day, 25 rugged up members made the journey to the Creswick Woollen Mills (still an Australian family owned business) for a tour of the museum and a spot of post tour shopping. It was agreed that it was an interesting day out, especially seeing all of the mill’s machinery sitting idle while marveling at the engineering of the day. Following the tour members went off for lunch at either Il Bella cafe or the Farmers Arms Hotel. An enjoyable day out.
