Club Activites Suspended during COVOD-19 Pandemic

Below is a copy of an email sent on 22/3/2020 to all members on our mailing list at that time.

Members – Due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic a decision has taken to
suspend club meeting and activities immediatly.
As a result our AGM on Monday 23/3/2020 will not occur.

Walking Group
We have also suspended the walking group, but suggest you go ahead and have a walk if you can and think of your walking buddies as you do.

IT Group
Chris is looking at the possiblity of doing an ONLINE IT Group…. Now that would be interesting…

Facebook
We have also activated the clubs Facebook Page as way for members to comunicate with each other.  
Access to the page will be limited to known members of our club.
If you have a facebook account and wish to join the Facebook Group  just
seach facebook for Probus Taylors Lakes or goto this page and request access – https://www.facebook.com/groups/taylorslakesprobus/   you will be asked to confirm your membership and your mobile number.  If you use a Pseudonym in Facebook please add a not so we can identify you.

Only members can see who’s in the group and what they post

In addition the club will be looking to ways to keep us all involved and active in this time.  Possibly a regular email.
