Monday 16 December, the date of the Probus Taylors Lakes Christmas Party finally arrived. Members were thrilled that the forecast for the day was going to be a balmy 43 degrees.
Thankfully our venue at Witchmount Estate was perfectly air-conditioned making our Christmas Party a comfortable event.
Members were treated to a delicious three course meal. In between courses they shimmied on the dance floor to the band, band members being our own Alan Dolby and David Young, a long-standing friend of the Club. After 20 special effort prizes were won, Doreen Matthews took home the grand prize of a Christmas Hamper. Our silent auction winner Yvonne Osborn took away the Mickey Mouse collectible with all proceeds going to Fallen Diggers.
Our thanks to the team at Witchmount for great food and friendly service – the photo booth provided sure was a winner. An extremely successful event to end the year.
